Kaitlin’s HDLT presentation (Plotagon)

I used Plotagon to do my reflection and presentation of my HDLT. I haven’t used it since last year, but it was easy to use again. 🙂

    Hi Kaitlin.
Good job! Plotagon is user friendly but it can also be tricky with all the details to think about!
I totally use behaviourism too. Positive reinforcements are important! As we mentioned in our seminar, I think there is still some sort of negative connotation when we think of the word behaviourism and I believe the examples you used are really showing its good sides.
Good insertion of the BROFENBRENNER’S theory!
When you talk about reading and the BC Curriculum, I liked how you made a connection with a Scandinavian country. This also allows us to reflect on our own curriculum.
I really like the example of the two students interacting about your teaching philosophy and the direction you take as a teacher.
Congrats for the 299 word count!

Overall, that was very entertaining and very informative.
It’s very hard to give you feedback on something you could have added up as I believe this is very personal.
How about you try to do it in 290 words? =p

    Well done!

    Oli

    Hi
Love, love the intro. Very creative. You were able to tie in theories and theorists with what you are you doing in the classroom. The examples/role plays helped showed the point.
You provided a variety of conversations and scenes which added to the presentation. I love how you provided examples and how you talked about each child’s readiness. You then tied it back to what you do and to the theorists.

My only feedback would be to ask Plotagon to work on their robotic voices but you can see that the app has improved even since we began to use the app last year.

I also loved the change in the different kinds of music. What a great presentation. It is evident you put a lot of work into this project.
