Who: Colin Good
Unit: Enrolment Services – Okanagan Campus
Position: Enrolment Services Assistant
Since: November 2000 (started with Okanagan University College and transitioned to UBC O)
Job Specifics: Colin’s main responsibilities include records and registration, academic evaluations, graduation support, academic ad hoc scheduling and degree navigator support.

Colin has worked as a student service provider for over 12 years and has been part of the Enrolment Services team for 5 years.

Colin grew up in small town of Quesnel and studied Business Administration at Cariboo College and SFU.  After graduating with his BBA he moved to South Korea to teach English for a year before getting married and moving to Kelowna.

Colin’s favorite thing about working at UBC Okanagan in Enrolment Services is the people.

Colin is an avid runner, who has completed 1 full marathon, 3 half-marathons, 2 trail races as well as a few other local charity runs including “Feed the Valley”.  Colin is currently training for an endurance trail race scheduled to take place in May.  He is a member of the Heat running club and he brags that he is recognized as the eldest Heat athlete. Colin can also be found hanging around The Hangar (UBC Okanagan fitness facility).  His favorite classes and cross training activities include cross country skiing, zumba, yoga and most recently spin.

Colin’s best friend is a 6 year old lab cross retriever called Boots that he rescued from the local SPCA. Colin and Boots can be spotted running the streets of Kelowna in the very early morning.

Colin is also the ES goodie provider and manages and maintains a drawer that can be accessed by all experiencing low blood sugar.
