United Way of the Lower Mainland has organized an event this Saturday, June 6th (12-4pm) where teams of 15 people would pull a UPS Boeing 757 plane down the tarmac at YVR while raising funds for United Way. Since UBC is a top contributor to United Way, they have offered us 2 spots. Each team needs to raise at least $600 and could have up to 15 people pulling the plane. More people can join and help with fundraising and attend the event, but only 15 people can pull the plane.
Please join, or come on out to cheer the UBC teams on! There will be family-friendly activities as well to keep everyone entertained.
