On February 15 and 22, Wendy Quan of The Calm Monkey is back to host Mindful Movement & Meditation over Zoom in February. During the one-hour sessions, we’ll practice techniques that we can build into our workdays. Sign up for one or both of the sessions below!

Session description

Do you know what mindful movement is and what to focus on when you’re doing it?

In this session we will learn simple and gentle moves that can be incorporated into our daily lives while at work and in our personal lives, and we’ll also do a seated meditation too.  We’ll do movement both seated and standing, and also some simple tai chi moves as well!

We know the importance of movement in our lives, and we know that taking care of our mental health is also key to our well-being.  Combining movement with mindfulness is a wonderful combination.

No special clothing or equipment is needed.  If possible, have a clear space in front of your computer where you can stand and be able to move your arms.

You’ll leave with many practices that you can choose from to incorporate into your life.

We’ll have two sessions, each showing different moves, so you are welcome to attend one or both!

Note: Room 2001 has been booked for staff on the Vancouver campus who would like to participate.
