Over the next few months, we’ll introduce some future state terminology, which will be important to understand as we transition to Workday student. We’ll introduce some new words and their definitions as well as definitions for words we currently use that will have new meanings in Workday student.

The first set of terms we are sharing define concepts that all ES staff will use to describe the label assigned to an individual and corresponding processes depending on where they are in the process of admissions and what type of learning opportunities they register in.

Program of study (PoS)

A Progam of Study is a path of studies that a learner applies to (through either an application or registration process), is admitted into, and which leads to a specific outcome or credential following the completion of a number of requirements.
