Sexual Assault Awareness Month

January is Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) at UBC. Now in its 9^th year, SAAM is an opportunity to join the conversation about addressing and preventing sexual assault. This year’s goal is to raise awareness about sexual assault and what you can do to prevent it. There are many ways to participate throughout the month, including:

• January 17 is Denim Day; wear denim and a Denim Day sticker to show your support
• January 15-19 visit the SAAM booth at the AMS Student Nest at UBC Point Grey Campus
• Throughout January, visit the SAAM booth in UNC on Tuesdays and at Fipke on Thursdays at UBC Okanagan
