Wondering what is happening around campus, who that lady is that you say hello to by the microwave everyday, or why that unit looks so busy this month? Us too!
There is no shortage of information available if you know where to look, but it’s easy for things to fall through the cracks. By collecting what’s relevant to ES staff and putting it on the web in one place, we hope to make it more accessible to everyone.
How will we do it?
Collect it
A representative from each unit will be the point person you can go to with information you want to share on the blog. They will also keep their ear to the ground and share posts about unit-specific information that is relevant to the ES audience that might otherwise not be shared.
Deliver it
Approximately once per month, you will receive a newsletter in your inbox that will contain a variety of information designed to:
- Keep you informed of events and opportunities on campus
- Introduce you to new staff
- Help you get to know what other units are up to
- Profile ES staff so you can understand what their job entails and get to know them better
- Learn about projects that may affect you, students or your colleagues
- Share with and learn about what our colleagues in the Okanagan are up to
Now what?
