Did you know that UBC launched a completely reimagined website last Friday, April 25?

The new website is an engaging transmedia experience, designed to foreground stories from across the university with video, animation, infographics and slideshows.

We wanted to think outside the box, and provide information in a way that shows our personality and conveys our bold, dynamic community. At the same time, we aimed to simplify navigation and make it easier to find information. – Kari Grist

Highlights of the new site include:

  • Audience and user focused navigation
  • A storytelling approach – access to fascinating and inspiring UBC stories, right from the home page
  • UBC Now, a new place for faculties and units to share their content
  • Responsive design (so it looks good on your iPhone!)
  • Great new portals for all of UBC’s primary audiences, including Faculty & Staff

If you haven’t checked out the new site, it’s well worth the visit.
