Colleagues \u2013<\/p>\n

From June till September 2015, the Student Support & Advising unit conducted a self-study with the support of an advisory committee from across campus.\u00a0 We wished to take a step back from our work and look at where we are at after just over 3 years of service to the University community.<\/p>\n

It was a very reflective and fruitful experience for us \u2013 critical reflections from faculty and our colleagues from across campus provided us with a great suggestion of next steps as we continue to move our work forward.<\/p>\n

What came out of the study was a series of recommendations that we are currently working to validate through a working group process and are working closely with other units on campus and those within ES that could be impacted by the recommendations.<\/p>\n

Given that our work is so closely connected with colleagues across Enrolment Services, it is our desire to share the executive summary of the self-study for your review .\u00a0SSA Self-Study Executive Summary<\/a><\/p>\n

I\u2019d also like to take this opportunity to thank the advisory committee (Dr. Tiffany Potter,\u00a0Patty Hambler,\u00a0Michelle Mallette,\u00a0Karen Waugh-Clark,\u00a0Andrew Arida,\u00a0Jenna Omassi,\u00a0Tobias Friedel ) and members of our team that have worked so closely on the project from day one.\u00a0 Without the two groups working so closely together we wouldn\u2019t have had such a fruitful reflective experience for our work.<\/p>\n
