E-Learning Readiness

In this unit we start to get at the “meat” of the course: what organizations need to do to get ready for e-learning. E-learning is a costly endeavour and unless organizations prepare adequately before implementing it, they will not reap its full benefits. The key readiness issues include:

  • Organizational culture
  • Faculty readiness
  • Learner readiness
  • Planning
  • Organizational structure

With a proper understanding of the key readiness factors, you should be able to assess your own organization to determine how ready it is for e-learning.
