Hey everyone! Great to read all of your intros, and looking forward to learning together this term. I live in East Vancouver with my partner Scott and our pup Skipper. I work as an Assistive Technology teacher, so I support students who have complex needs and their school teams in using assistive tech. In terms of other interests I’m obsessed with my (first ever!) puppy, live music, getting experimental in the kitchen, and pretty much any activity where i can get outside – this summer I did lots of sailing, paddle boarding, hiking, and running. In this course I am particularly interested in exploring learning innovation in AT to promote inclusion, including supporting learning, peer relationships, and experiential learning in the great outdoors. ETEC 522 and my other course this term will be my last of the MET program, looking forward to graduating with some of you soon!
