Hi everyone, I’m happy to meet you in this course. I am working on courses 7 & 8 this semester. I am an administrator, and this year I teach English First Peoples 11 and AP World History, but since 2005 I’ve taught many of the available humanities classes in grades 6-12. I teach in Kelowna, BC, and live in Lake Country where the lakes are rapidly icing up with this cold snap. I’m looking ahead though – I just snatched up 2 paddle boards from Costco to set us up for camping this summer.
I’m excited to take on this course’s “venture” aspect and think beyond the confines of a school building. Over the years I know I’ve accumulated knowledge and skills that can be shaped and utilized in new ideas and technologies, I just do not know how yet. One of my objectives in this course is to branch out and create something I can invest in beyond the classroom.
