Neuroscience links together the domains of physiology and psychology, bringing an enhanced understanding of how people think, remember and learn. The field has undergone tremendous growth in recent history, with technological advances in EEG measurements, MRI scans and AI allowing increasingly detailed research and application results.
Opportunity Statement: Neuroscience informed pedagogy has the potential to give educators tools to enhance the learning efficiency and effectiveness of their students. This can range from apps that utilize concepts of memory development to practice content more effectively, devices that monitor a student’s mental state and give prompts to aid focus and concentration, to human interface devices that allow direct connection with computers.
