{"id":5080,"date":"2012-05-07T19:16:21","date_gmt":"2012-05-08T02:16:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/etec522may12\/?p=5080"},"modified":"2012-05-07T19:16:21","modified_gmt":"2012-05-08T02:16:21","slug":"hello-everyone-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/etec522may12\/2012\/05\/07\/hello-everyone-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Hello Everyone"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hi Everyone<\/p>\n<p>My Name is Dave Horn and I am currently teaching Senior Sciences and Mathematics at a small school in Vancouver.\u00a0 Starting currently and continuing onto next year, I&#8217;ll become the director of educational technology and will be responsible for developing the e-Learning program at our school.<\/p>\n<p>It is for this new admin role and for future development that I am interested in taking this course about ventures in technology.  When I am not teaching or trying to develop a new learning plan I spend a fair bit of time climbing and doing <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dmhorn.wordpress.com\" target=\"new\">photography<\/a>.  As I think ventures in technology involve being creative and constructive I&#8217;ve included this Bender photo.
