{"id":4799,"date":"2011-09-01T22:00:57","date_gmt":"2011-09-02T06:00:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/etec522sept11\/?p=4799"},"modified":"2011-09-02T13:00:15","modified_gmt":"2011-09-02T21:00:15","slug":"1-1-learning","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/etec522sept11\/2011\/09\/01\/1-1-learning\/","title":{"rendered":"1-1 Learning"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>So many technologies can be leveraged in such cost-effective ways to get students ubiquitous Internet access during the day and outside of school that the focus of 1:1 is no longer so much \u201cHow do we get kids computers and maintain them all?\u201d but \u201cHow do we use these things to improve teaching, learning, and student achievement?\u201d While financial hurdles still exist in many schools, a variety of solutions can be used to maximize student access, even if schools can\u2019t achieve 1:1.
