I have a strong interest in adult learning, and have explored previous courses from that perspective.<\/p>\n<p>I currently work with the Canadian Red Cross in the Injury Prevention department. \u00a0I am in a project management role revising the current courses (specifically the wilderness and pre-hospital programs); we have been exploring e-learning with more and more enthusiasm (our first test course will be ready<\/p>\n<p>tomorrow for a partner) and I have the pleasure of being part of that roll-out.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_4876\" style=\"width: 160px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-4876\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-4876\" style=\"border-style: initial;border-color: initial;border-width: 0px\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/etec522sept11\/files\/2011\/09\/P1000129-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-4876\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The view from my office.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>I live in Gatineau, QC (very close to Ottawa). \u00a0I have a wonderful partner (celebrating two years of<\/p>\n<p>marriage yesterday) and an even more wonderful dog (shh). \u00a0We moved to the Ottawa River about a year ago and since then I have been working from my home office.<\/p>\n<p>Looking forward to this course and getting to know my colleagues!<\/p>\n<p>Kristopher<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hello everyone, My name is Kristopher and I have been in the MET program for two years now.
