It\u00a0also allows you to download classics and recent works from Project Gutenberg, Feedbooks, and other sources.<\/p>\n<p><strong><\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong><\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong><\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong><\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/etec522sept11\/files\/2011\/10\/classics.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-6208\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/etec522sept11\/files\/2011\/10\/classics.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"134\" height=\"156\" \/><\/a>Classics<\/strong>\u00a0is a similar app to Stanza. The only difference is that it\u00a0only has 23\u00a0classics such as Dracula, Treasure Island, Monte Cristo, Frankenstein, and\u00a0the Wonderful Wizard of Oz.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I usually read these eBooks\u00a0before I\u00a0go to bed. Some advantages of reading an eBook on\u00a0the iPhone is<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Portability:<\/strong> I carry my iPhone all the time, so I get\u00a0to read\u00a0an\u00a0eBook whenever I can. It&#8217;s much lighter than carrying a book (doesn&#8217;t matter whether it&#8217;s paperback or hardcover).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Accessibility:<\/strong> iPhone is always in my bag, in my pocket, or in my hand, so I have easy access to the eBook. It takes less than 5 seconds to upload the part of a book that I want to read.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Go green!:<\/strong> I am contributing to the protection of the environment. It saves trees, energy, printing costs, and much more.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>However, there are disadvantages as well. Some of the disadvantages are<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Health issues:<\/strong> Since both the screen and the fonts are small, it&#8217;s not good for my eyes.<\/li>\n<li><strong>No batteries, no read:<\/strong> Sometimes when batteries get run out, I can&#8217;t have access to my eBook. Unlike a paper book, I have to wait until I can turn on my iPhone.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Although there are some advantages that I&#8217;ve found when using iPhone as a book, I like my experience reading an eBook. Since I&#8217;m used to it, it&#8217;s much more convenient and efficient for me to quickly read eBooks\/eArticles\/eMagazines than spending time and energy to print and wasting paper.
