{"id":6863,"date":"2011-11-06T13:28:27","date_gmt":"2011-11-06T21:28:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/etec522sept11\/?p=6863"},"modified":"2011-11-06T13:28:27","modified_gmt":"2011-11-06T21:28:27","slug":"discussion-2-too-frustrating-for-an-esl-adult","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/etec522sept11\/2011\/11\/06\/discussion-2-too-frustrating-for-an-esl-adult\/","title":{"rendered":"Discussion #2 &#8211; Too frustrating for an ESL adult"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-size: 16.0pt;font-family: Arial\"><span>\u00a0<\/span>I don\u2019t currently use an iPad in my class and I don\u2019t own one \u2013 I have a blackberry playbook.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>I got the playbook because of it\u2019s size, it is easier to thumb type than one finger type like on the iPad, it\u2019s multitasking abilities, and it\u2019s ability to run flash.<span>\u00a0 <\/span>The biggest advantage my playbook has over my lap top is portability, but I only usually use it for reading, surfing, and playing games.
