{"id":7126,"date":"2011-11-16T15:00:51","date_gmt":"2011-11-16T23:00:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/etec522sept11\/?p=7126"},"modified":"2011-11-16T15:00:51","modified_gmt":"2011-11-16T23:00:51","slug":"day-3-my-venture","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/etec522sept11\/2011\/11\/16\/day-3-my-venture\/","title":{"rendered":"Day 3:  My venture"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Quite a challenging task for Day 3! \u00a0But you did get me to think more about m-learning.<\/p>\n<p>-my problem? \u00a0The need for practice. \u00a0Everyone in secondary schools knows how tough it is to get kids to do their homework that provides the necessary practice.<\/p>\n<p>-solution? -Maybe a series of games apps that targets concept practice &#8211; yes, this could look like drill and kill &#8211; but so does \u00a0a lot of homework assignments anyway. \u00a0Not easy to do high order thinking on a mobile device &#8211; maybe that could be the next &#8220;big thing&#8221;?
