Speaking from a student&#8217;s viewpoint where assessment and feedback form the base on which I learn, the application of social analytics would provide me with up-to-date information about my progress. Naturally, visuals have become a an integral part of what we do and its role in learning analytics is just as critical. Therefore, the visuals are there to accompany whatever data is being presented to establish a clearer message. Well, I guess the issue or privacy would be a factor with learning analytics since all of one&#8217;s browsing data will be explored; including location, type of computer etc. Not everyone is comfortable with the invasion or publication of all their personal information.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;line-height: 0.19in\">\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;line-height: 0.19in\"><span style=\"color: #222222\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica Neue', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif\"><span style=\"font-size: x-small\">Everton\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I find the connection of learning analytics and assessment and feedback interesting.
