This is my 4th MET course. I&#8217;m also taking ETEC 531. I&#8217;ve been working for the VSB since 2009 teaching all grade levels. My \u00a0high school teachable is English. I taught grade 6\/7 last year.<\/p>\n<p>This is the first year that all three of my own children are in school! (Quite an exciting time in our household.) It&#8217;s been so different this week &#8211; I have the whole place to myself if I&#8217;m not working!<\/p>\n<p>I took an elective course this summer called Recurring Questions in Technology. It was a nice change to be in a classroom again. I enjoy the on-line community too (don&#8217;t get me wrong). It&#8217;s just different. It felt like a treat to be able to go grab a coffee with the person sitting next to me on our break \ud83d\ude42 If you have the opportunity, I highly recommend taking an on-campus course too. <\/p>\n<p>My interests include interior design, architecture, and web \/ graphic design. I&#8217;ve been known to occasionally pick up the guitar and sing but honestly it&#8217;s been over a decade since I&#8217;ve done an open mic night or anything (probably the having 3 kids thing&#8230;). I also enjoy mountain biking and hiking and frequent the sunshine coast where we have property up the Sechelt Inlet (boat access only). <\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m really looking forward to working and learning with you virtually.<\/p>\n<p>Adrienne.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hi Everyone, I&#8217;m Adrienne.
