Unfortunately does not seem to be bringing the\u00a0benefits and advancements they hoped it would initially.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/readwrite.com\/2012\/10\/23\/readwriteweb-deathwatch-one-laptop-per-child-olpc\">DeathWatch: One Laptop Per Child (OLPC)<\/a><\/p>\n<p>I was lucky enough to briefly meet one of the founders of the Cambodia\u00a0NGO that runs the small remote village school these computers were first developed for. \u00a0Each year some of their students come and try to pass the entrance exam (after they finished grade 12) for the Vocational training center I was working in at the time.
