I&#8217;m wondering if it might be useful to have a brief mention on the Radio 522 page (or elsewhere) informing students how RSS feeds can be used\/saved\/subscribed to? I had a previous class (565A) which required the use of a feed reader, and I noticed that most classmates had never used one, or didn&#8217;t know that they could find\/install a feed manager.\u00a0 Might be useful to list some\u00a0 browser add-ons\/extensions or even apps for this?<\/p>\n<p>Took me a while to realize that I could access and subscribe to the class comments feed by clicking on the feed icon in the sidebar:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/etec522m.sites.olt.ubc.ca\/files\/2014\/05\/feed.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-10556\" src=\"http:\/\/etec522m.sites.olt.ubc.ca\/files\/2014\/05\/feed.jpg\" alt=\"feed\" width=\"298\" height=\"226\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I was then able to either bookmark the comments feed using my favorite feed reader for Firefox:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/etec522m.sites.olt.ubc.ca\/files\/2014\/05\/subscribe.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-10557\" src=\"http:\/\/etec522m.sites.olt.ubc.ca\/files\/2014\/05\/subscribe-360x273.jpg\" alt=\"subscribe\" width=\"360\" height=\"273\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Now I can get new comment notifications so I don&#8217;t miss anything, which is awesome!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/etec522m.sites.olt.ubc.ca\/files\/2014\/05\/comment-notif.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-10559\" src=\"http:\/\/etec522m.sites.olt.ubc.ca\/files\/2014\/05\/comment-notif.jpg\" alt=\"comment-notif\" width=\"290\" height=\"104\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>PS.
