Discussion: Many beneficial elements of face-to-face collaboration may never be replaced by any technology, but the pressing need to convene distributed teams, cohorts and individuals to collectively explore ideas and resolve complex challenges has inspired the development of scores of networked collaboration technologies. At first glance it might seem infeasible to collapse such systems into a handheld form factor, but we have to remember that one of the original and still-most-effective networked collaboration applications is the teleconference. And now AI is filling in for most of the inherent deficiencies of the medium, as well as augmenting collaboration in ways we perhaps never anticipated.
523 Inspiration: The accessibility potentials of emerging Mobile Collaboration technologies, both live and asynchronous, is the driver for a global transformation involving telecommuting and distributed work of all kinds. Building on decades of innovation in web collaboration tools, Mobile Collaboration within education is an exciting new frontier, brought closer rapidly by the recent pandemic. Most offices may never go back to the ‘old normal’, so what about classrooms and learning more generally?

The mobile collaboration has made Job easier for many employees and employers as well.
For schools, the online shift while pandemic has setup the hybrid learning platforms for learning. Most of school across the globe use online platforms (GC, Teams and Schoology etc ) for resource sharing and returning assignments. Also, many interactive gaming platforms were designed to make student-centered activities. The digital activity via online system is more reliable and produced the data for analysis.
The pattern of teaching shifted completely from traditional teaching to more student-led teaching style. Learners demand more activity based learning, exploratory and constructive styles for deep learning. Teachers started to use technology in the classroom and used resources available outside the classroom (videos, guest invites).
The mobile collaboration enable teaching on snow or heavy rain days rather than off days. This also established new setting for tech-based learning which leads to use of AI personal assistants for taking notes and interactive white boards.
Many platforms (Canva, NotebookLM, Kahoot, Google Classroom) have added AI plugins to immediately respons to the queries.
It is used to enhance the systems for future as well. Overall, I see education being revolutionized after Pandemic.
When reading through the different frontiers, this one in particular immediately stood out as most personally relevant for me as an elementary music educator and performing/recording musician. In the past if you wanted to musically collaborate with other musicians outside who you played with in real time, your only option would be to record your ideas in a professional recording studio, physically send your contributions to your would be collaborators, and wait to receive their contributions back. The ability to do things like send musical ideas anywhere in the world through cloud-based technology, turn virtually any space into a recording studio due to advances in the availability of recording equipment, and even play together in real time through real time telecommunications are just some of the unique ways that mobile communications are changing how music might be created and shared.
The immediacy of mobile collaboration plays an integral role in my professional career. Today, we met on Teams with a nation located in a distant region of BC to plan for a traditional food trade between the two nations. They had excess seafood, while the location of the nation I work for has immediate access to game meat. Before, community members would travel for weeks by canoe and across land to plan such a trade. Now we can meet online, exchange several emails, and agree on a fair exchange. The food will be transported in a reefer truck, and members will be transported to the other community by bus to celebrate a meal together, followed by dance, drum and song and an exchange of gifts.
