For many, TikTok is a platform for entertainment, social connection, information sharing, and self-expression. Whether they&#8217;re sharing stories about their lives, reviewing products, watching news clips, participating in dance trends, or attempting DIY projects, the app has established a presence in 70% of Canadian teens\u2019 lives (Barbic, n.d.).
