The credit goes to Miguel post on this\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/etec523\/2020\/04\/10\/w02-mobile-technologies-i-want-to-see-someday\/\">week\u2019s discussion forum<\/a>. This inspired me to think of all the ways that we already have the ability to \u2018map our minds\u2019.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This video outlines the general idea of a Mind Palace:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"How to Memorize Fast and Easily \/\/ Mind Palace: Build a Memory Palace\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/3vlpQHJ09do?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Visualizing your thoughts by \u201cMind mapping\u201d is kind of like a first step towards virtual mind palaces. We all can agree that visual learning has an essential role in learning. And what about in creating your own knowledge pathways? Sometimes our thoughts and ideas remain too abstract when they are stuck inside our head. You can visualize your ideas, either traditionally, by using a pen and paper, or with the many new applications that allow the user to easily add ideas and draw connections from their mobile device.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In choosing a software to demonstrate, I decided \u2018simple\u2019 is best. \u201cSimple mind\u201d is a free software (with optional upgrades) that allows you to easily organize your ideas using an iPad or other mobile device.&nbsp;&nbsp;This application, is one of many of the like that allow you to form your ideas in \u2018bubbles\u2019 or \u2018blocks\u2019 and manipulate them using your fingertips to zoom, pan, or drag and drop.
