Bite-sized learning is also known as mircolearning. It has been a hot topic within the last decade because its compatibility with mobile learning. The short bursts 1-15 minutes bite-sized learning content are a natural fit for mobile devices. It allows learners to access information in a timely and flexible manner. The reason why I chose to talk about bite-sized learning is because I have been using bite-sized learning platforms, like MasterClass, LinkedIn Learning and VMedu. These platforms have helped me significantly to stay current with what’s new in the industry, and I wanted my peers to be aware of them too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In this 3 minutes video, I covered the definition of bite-sized learning, its pros and cons, and listed various forms of bite-sized learning and multiple learning platforms. In view of the vital role of social media being the “messenger”, I also highlighted social media platforms as part of the media affordance to disperse information and deliver bite-sized learning experience. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
