All age levels can take this course and have a firm understanding of musical theory by the end.<\/p>\n<p>Middle and High school aged learners can use this course to help you with the study of your instrument, or to switch to a new instrument. Teachers can use this course as a way to help your students who are struggling with theory a way to practice on their own. Adult learners will find this a great space to learn on your own.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Overview<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Task 1: Quiz Yourself!<\/p>\n<p>Task 2: Notes, Rests, Staves and Clefs<\/p>\n<p>By the end of the course you will be able to read music in two clefs, including pitch and rhythm.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Background<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I wanted to create a course that could be used by different levels of learners to teach music notation and theory to anyone that wanted to learn. As a high school music teacher I have found that sometimes students need extra support with learning theory, and I have also met many parents and adults who wish they had learned music a long time ago.
