The Oak Hills Local School District (OHLSD) in western Hamilton County, Ohio, is the county’s third-largest district, serving about 8,100 students in preschool through grade 12. In the planning process, the district decided to take their BYOD program one step further by building a virtual desktop system which can be accessed through any device that students or teachers bring into the school. In addition to student engagement and learning gains, the district also boasts a significant cost savings through the BYOD initiative.
