For my final project I have researched the affordances and considerations for utilizing virtual labs in a science classroom. Prior to the Covid 19 pandemic, virtual labs were low on my priority list of instructional tools. When students were sent home in March 2020, virtual labs became a way to maintain student’s laboratory skills and their interest in science. Now two years later, the number of virtual labs available (both free and paid) are rapidly increasing. The infographic I created is designed to explore the affordances and considerations for utilizing virtual labs now that we are back in the classroom.
