  6. Men\u2019s House Song – Robert MacLennan<\/li>\n
  7. Le Sacre du Printemps Pt II Le Sacrafice: Danse Sacrale – Stravinsky<\/li>\n
  8. S\u00e9n\u00e9gal Percussion – Charles Duvelle<\/li>\n
  9. Azerbaijan Bagpipes – Ugam<\/li>\n
  10. Night Chant – Navajo Indians<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    For myself, creating a \u2018top ten\u2019 list from such a collection was difficult. \u00a0What kind of criteria are used? \u00a0Who can objectively decide which piece of world culture is better or more important than the next. \u00a0Regardless, I tried my best.<\/div>\n

    I started with Chuck Berry because Johnny B Goode will forever be close to my heart thanks to the movie \u201cBack to the Future\u201d. \u00a0Next was Blind Willey Johnson because I\u2019m a fan of the blues. \u00a0Louis Armstrong is a legend for jazz fans, and Beethoven\u2019s Symphony 5 is legendary in its own right. \u00a0As for the Tchakrulo song, who doesn\u2019t like a drinking song which is meant to prepare you for war? \u00a0As for my choices for #6 & #7, I just liked the way they sound. \u00a0Same for 8-10, although I also wanted to include them for worldwide culture purposes.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
