I thoroughly enjoyed Angela’s take on this mode bending assignment and we have chosen somewhat similar types of media to change our delivery of Task 1 “What’s in your bag?” Angela’s video was a quick and informative video with great visuals and informative commentary. Similarly, I used a video animation as well with a voice over to create a multimodal presentation of my initial task 1. Although we both chose similar media platforms to convey our messages, we took different paths as to length of video and description of each item. While using this task to redesign my initial photo as an opportunity to be more personal and verbally tell the story behind each item, Angela used this opportunity to be more concise and directly to the point. Ultimately, we both took separate takes on how to use this media in redesigning the initial task, however both arriving at the same conclusion, using an animated video to show what items we carry everyday.
