Listed above are my 10 chosen songs from the Voyager Golden Record. I chose these songs for a variety of reasons. While listening to the podcast, some of the descriptions and reasonings for selecting the songs appealed to me, thus making it onto my list. I liked the idea that there is a sample of music from around the world that would serve as a representation of life on earth for extraterrestrial life. From the ones I listened to, I chose ones that differed in tempo, mood, and expression. I also chose some classical music pieces, as I have a background playing piano and classical music throughout my life.
