In this scenario, society has fallen apart and in chaos. Resources are scarce worldwide and people are ignoring laws, their country’s sense of order and typical way of life to fulfill their basic needs. It is essentially survival of the fittest in this society. The city we are in is Vancouver. There are riots breaking out in the streets, people are breaking into homes and stores to look for food and clothes as winter is quickly approaching. However, there is a leader in Vancouver, who rules the city. He is a dictator and has loyal soldiers everywhere. If caught stealing or killing by a soldier, he/she will be brought back to his mansion to be executed immediately. 

As typical Vancouverites, the roads will not be in good shape for driving as it is forecasted to snow in the coming days. It is dreadful to drive in the snow, but it is the only way to get around safely without interacting with others and the soldiers. 

The skytrains are still somehow running and people are rushing to Waterfront Station in Downtown Vancouver as an easy way to get around the city without the need to drive. However, people are fighting each other to get on the trains as there are so many people and trains are coming infrequently. Everyone is agitated and people start getting pushed into the tracks. The soldiers have come in time and are establishing order and taking away those who are not complying. Since there is no fair justice system, those that step out of line are taken back to the mansion to be executed. This is what our city has come to.
