There are 9 layers that they could identify.  I think the Homeric Troy was layer 5 or 6.  From the top of some of the ruins, you could see a hill where Achilles would have been buried, and another nearby, where Paris would now lie.\" width=\"130\" height=\"86\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-2054\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">This is what&#39;s left of Troy now.  There are 9 layers that they could identify.  I think the Homeric Troy was layer 5 or 6.
