Hello everyone!
My name is Adam Sheard and I’m in my second year of the M.Ed in TESOL program at UBC. As you can probably guess from the title and image I used here, I am interested in AI, text-related technologies, and language learning. I am currently working on a program called CLNotes which is a program that helps people learn how to read and write in English using adaptive and collaborative technologies. I will also be going to Chicago in a few weeks here to present my research and CLNotes at the CALICO conference, one of the world’s largest Computer Assisted Language Learning Conferences.
As an English language teacher, English language instruction YouTuber, and language learning technology developer, the content of this class is both extremely relevant and interesting to me. I have already read some of your introductions and I am stoked to meet you all virtually and have some great discussions!
