My video documentary is about the introduction of the printing press and subsequent evolution of movable type. I chose to make the documentary using Camtasia, which was a time-consuming process and steep learning curve as I’d never used the software or even created any form of video before … I feel happy with my choice of software though after reading other classmates’ posts and issues with other choices of production software. The biggest challenge I faced, was trying to fit all of the content into bite-sized chunks, for a 10 minute presentation. If I have to critique my own work, I feel that it is perhaps too wordy and as I learn in my journey of video production I would like to work on making more dynamic videos!
