Hi everyone I decided to take a look at a broad number of web 2.0 tools and place them into a virtual environment. I thought that perhaps by viewing the tools in a different visual space it changes the dynamic between the viewer and the presentation. VR is often said to give a sense of “presence” and I believe that “text” as we know it now is changing rapidly and evolving into these new virtual interactive environments. The coding aspect was another interesting challenge to this project as I had to make sure there were no bugs and each movement I placed in was smooth and simple to interact with. Look around with your trackpad and walk around with WSAD on your keyboard

Nathan – very cool. I enjoyed the virtual look around. The interactive elements helped me as a reader engage with the text.
What is interesting is which applications are chosen to appear as the user enters the room. Only a few are visible and others are known after spinning around 360 degrees. This is a good example of non-fixed order of the text. At the same time, there is a way for the viewer to know that they completed all items – that is, they can complete all items if they methodically spin around completely.
