For our final multimedia assignment, Kim and I focused on the topic of ‘Hypermedia and the Digital Footprint’. We focused on modern digital text technologies, and how they have shaped and influenced our culture and society. As indicated in our website, we believe Hypermedia has been one of the most influential factors to the Internet’s success, but simultaneously, has resulted in creating many societal issues as well.
We created a Wix website to pay homage to hypermedia as well as printed text (e.g. books). You can navigate through the content material in a linear, page-by-page sequential format (indicated by chapters, a table of contents, glossary, and reference page), or utilize the embedded hypermedia links to peruse the content in a randomized fashion following your own personal interests.
