Throughout the course you will be introduced to many provocations and inclusive maker challenges through the modules that confront the status quo and allow you to think deeper about STEAM content and world issues from an EDIDA lens. It is through these experiential, hands-on, and inclusive experiences that you will align theory with practice. You will confront different theories and
pedagogies through the use of no-tech, low tech, and high-tech (Kafai & Jayathirtha, 2020) maker materials while utilizing the liberatory design thinking process to learn how to design an inclusive makerspace and its associated challenges, provocations, and critical tasks.
