From stage to film: The influence of film on culture, education and knowledge
This introduction to the evolution of film begins with a brief history and then moves on to explore the influence cinema had on modern culture, education, social and literary changes. The topic introduces a few of the major influences it has had in all four of these areas.
I began with the use of google slides but soon realized that I was limited by my inability to add sound to it, so I downloaded the slides in to PowerPoint and used free video editing software (VSDC free screen recorder) to download YouTube clips, record my voice and then play around with sound levels so I could have videos playing in the background while my voice remained audible. This took a lot of time as I had to then clip videos to last the length of each slide.
Overall, it was a really big learning curve, as I have never worked with any of the software before, so I spent a lot of time learning from google tutorials. However, the end product is better than I expected. As always, it could do with tweaking, but I had to give up in the interest of moving on to my other courses and projects.
