e-Portfolio

To create your ePortfolio:

  1. Set up your ePortfolio on UBC WordPress, use your CWL. Check  UBC WordPress FAQ if necessary. The requirement to use the UBC hosted Word Press platform (and not using the open access WP) is designed to recreate the organizational settings with strict  information security requirements.
  2. Give a name to your WP blog and add five pages.
  3. Post your ePortfolio URL on the Week 2 discussion: ePortfolio collection (BbConnect)

ePortfolio structure:

A “Home” page is there on your blog by default. Here you will be adding several consecutive posts (use function “+ New Post”), documenting your reflections and observations about your experiences with the course activities: designing your project, discussions, and collaborative work (group assignments, presentations of the digital stories and the collection of course projects). With these series of posts you will be contributing to the final assignment#4 – reflective summary.

Use function “+ New Page” to create the pages with the following titles:

“Flight Path” page, where you will publish Assignment #0.1, writing about your learning plans for this course, and the technologies which you are considering using;

“Platform Evaluation” page, where you will publish Assignment #1 – a group collaborative project, evaluating an LMS of your choice in an organizational context;

“Introductory Module” page, to publish the Project Documentation and the URL of the Introductory Module which you will design – Assignment #2;

“Content Module” page, to publish the Project Documentation and URL of the course Content Module which you will design – Assignment #3;

“Synthesis” page – to publish your assignment #4: reflective summary.
