{"id":43,"date":"2011-06-13T01:44:10","date_gmt":"2011-06-13T04:14:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/etec565hawkinsbogle\/?p=43"},"modified":"2011-06-13T01:49:08","modified_gmt":"2011-06-13T04:19:08","slug":"moodle-proposal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ubc.ca\/etec565hawkinsbogle\/2011\/06\/13\/moodle-proposal\/","title":{"rendered":"Moodle Proposal"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"width: 190px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"  \" src=\"http:\/\/farm5.static.flickr.com\/4097\/4740512296_bf4216fb43.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"180\" height=\"240\" \/><p class=\"wp-caption-text\">One stop during my weekend fieldtrip ~ Soda Creek, BC<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Hello Everyone,<\/p>\n<p>If any of you have a chance to check out my Moodle proposal, I would appreciate it. \u00a0I guess I better be willing to return the favour ehh? \u00a0My proposal is hypothetical, but is based on a real learning context in the Quesnel School District (#28). \u00a0I actually had a conversation with teachers from the rural elementary schools identified about such a learning platform to instruct mathematics, and they are pretty keen on the idea. \u00a0The big kicker is time, and who is willing to put the intiative out there and get the ball rolling. \u00a0I think these teachers see the value of sharing their instruction amongst each other so their students get valuable, and focussed dialogue.
