Pachanga was a great success! We had a great time getting to know one another, and the EIESL team would like to send out a huge thank you to all who attended our beach party. Our next objective at the EIESL project is to plan out our awareness campaign and dialogue series for the fall with a full-day planning retreat on Tuesday August 18th at International House. The retreat will be held from 10 am to 4pm, split into a morning and an afternoon session. This project is run on enthusiasm, ideas, group collaboration and volunteers, you are the most important part of the success of the EIESL project and we hope to see as many of you as possible there!

We are hoping to develop a logo for the project, awareness materials, slogans and activities for our awareness campaign and subject material and formats of our dialogue series. We will be having student break-out planning sessions in the morning and combined student and faculty sessions in the afternoon. The tentative schedule is as follows:

10:00-10:30    Greetings and icebreakers
10:30-12:30    Student breakout planning sessions
12:30-1:30       Lunch Break
1:30-3:30         Student & Faculty joint planning sessions
3:30-4:00        Wrap-up and feedback session

Snacks will be provided, but bring your own bag lunch for a picnic on the lawn (weather permitting).
