“I want to help!”: International Service and the Not-So-Happenstance of Injustice

Join the Ethics of International Engagement and Service Learning (EIESL) community of practice in launching our 2010-2011 invitation to UBC students, faculty, and staff to courageously reflect on the intentions and practices of international service. In this interactive workshop, participants will learn about the EIESL project and how they can collaborate in creating resources to support the UBC community in mitigating, rather than perpetuating, the global injustices that service providers often hope to eliminate. All our welcome and no previous international experience is required.
