Only thing is, they won&#8217;t ship it to us because we live in Canada. This makes us sad.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Also, did anyone else catch the irony here?\u00a0 Unavoidable I suppose. Anyway, strong work for an accessible criticism of the charity paradigm. Although, it sorta feels a bit like that ridiculous <a href=\"http:\/\/wrongingrights.blogspot.com\/2009\/03\/worst-idea-ever.html\" target=\"_blank\">Invisible Children<\/a> documentary&#8230; and I&#8217;m not sure how to feel about it yet (and I will never be able to hear the words &#8220;Cairo to Cape Town&#8221; without thinking of our dear friend <a href=\"http:\/\/www.martinfrost.ws\/htmlfiles\/april2007\/britemp8.jpg\" target=\"_blank\">Cecil Rhodes<\/a>). This is why I want to watch it to be sure. Either way, I think it could be a valuable teaching tool.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Is it unethical to smuggle a documentary that teaches people about ethics across the border? It may come to that (I also tried to steal an ethics class\u00a0 once, arguing that it was &#8220;for the greater good&#8221;, but caved under my own conflicted conscience and came clean to the prof after a few lectures).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">In summary<\/span>:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Stickin&#8217; it to big aid = sweet.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Featured at many film festivals = right on.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;Featured on CNN, NBC, FOX etc.&#8221; = *soft, apprehensive Canadian liberal grumble*<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Anyhow, here&#8217;s the <a href=\"http:\/\/store.whatarewedoinghere.net\/content\/Film_Synopsis.htm\" target=\"_blank\">website<\/a> for the film if you want to know more about it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Matt Whiteman So this is a neat looking film which seems from the trailer to sum up our basic argument.
