The application package was an assignment for Unit 4.1. It required that each student find an employment, volunteer or academic program that was of interest to them and put together an application package for it. The package had to include: a copy of the advertisement, a cover letter/application letter, a résumé/curriculum vitae, and three letters requesting references.
My application package is linked below as a PDF file and is easy to download. It has been revised according to the feedback received from my peer. It contains the following documents and specifications:
- Job advertisement (accompanied by MLA documentation showing the source of the ad)
- Cover letter (one page in solicited form)
- Résumé (one page in reverse chronological form)
- Three reference letter requests (addressed to two former supervisors and a former professor)
