Today we covered Section 12.2: Speed (p. 346).
Learning Objectives:
- Students will be able to relate time and distance to speed and velocity.
- Students will be able to differentiate between average and instant velocity, and realize if an object is travelling at constant velocity.
Speed is an important thing! Think about car crashes… engineers need to be able to calculate the speeds that the car will be driven and adjust their safety designs accordingly.
