Today we went outside to investigate mosses in their natural habitat!
As a reminder we will have our quiz on mosses on Monday, 18-Apr-2016!
We brought some moss back in and considered the following questions:
1. Where did you find your moss?
2. Where else did you see moss growing?
3. What kinds of environments are they? What qualities do they have?
4. Why do you think it was growing there? Consider moss structure and reproduction.
5. What are some uses for moss?
6. What is meant by peat and what is it used for by humans?
7. Do you think peat should continue to be harvested?
8. Explain your position. Why or why not?
