You have thought carefully about short term practical ways to find support from others (visiting the classroom at the start of the year, connecting with teachers) and longer term about learning from mentors, and networking through returning to pursue professional development at your CFE site – these are strong, supportive ways to move ahead with learning.
As you think about creating a space where all students with different learning needs and varying intellectual needs can be included, this blog (Shelley Moore) has some very thoughtful approaches.

Re: philosophy.
Your philosophy reads well and is cohesive!
You have strong beliefs and high aspirations: “using funds of knowledge and their learning contexts” is a way of acknowledging students’ diversity, but more than that, using the experiences that students bring to add to your class as opposed to viewing this as a deficit.
